Building Project

In 2011, Covenant Family Ministries, in teaming with Jubilee Fellowship Church in Colorado, USA, started work on their own building.  The building will allow CFM to drop the costs associated with the rental of their current building and reduce the risk of having to move the congregation should the existing rental land be rented to someone else.  the vision is for the building to be a central location for all the elements of CFM’s ministry, including:

A piece of land was identified and purchased by the church, and since early 2011, has been graded and a foundation has been set.   The next phase of the project is to build the actual building.  Plans have been drawn up and approved by the local officials.  Construction is slated for the “dry season” in late 2011 – early 2012.

Funds are being collected to support this building project.  Jubilee Fellowship Church has graciously offered to be a clearing house for all funds going to this building project.  All donations are 100% allocated to the project and there is no ‘management fee’ taken out of any gifts.  Donations are fully tax deductible (in the US),  and JFC will send a contribution summary at the end of the year to all donors for their records.  Donations may be made either via mail or on-line.  Please refer to the JFC website for details at either:

Be sure to note “SIERRA LEONE” on any gifts for this project!

Below are some photos of the land dedication service and work on the grading.

Through the work of the members of the church as well as many volunteers, work began.  Pastor Martin held a dedication service on the land with his congregation:
