Covenant Family Christian Church
The church is the core ministry of CFM. Covenant Family Church is a full-gospel church, preaching the Word in all its power and depth.
The church exists to reach people who don’t know God. God desires all would seek and know him. He cares very much about each and every one of us, and has the simple goal of giving us a full and complete life. He has chosen to share this message through the church. However even those that know him can become discouraged and pulled away from the things that give us life. It is for that purpose that the church also exists – to encourage, to help those that are hurting and struggling, to share compassion in a tangible way. Additionally, the church exists to teach. The godly life is not natural to a human, and as such, we need to discern the decisions and actions we will choose to do. Paul describes it as “working out your salvation.” It is the daily process of letting go of our selfish desires and pursuing the life God would have for us; to find and “do those things God prepared in advance for us to do.” The mission of the church does not stop there. Once people see the vision, once they understand the life God offers us, this “Good News” must be shared with others. It is the purpose of the church to communicate the message to those who don’t know, have been mislead or have forgotten the promises of God.
In short, through the church, people are reached and ministered to, taught about our wondrous God, encouraged and empowered, and equipped for every good work.
